Well after a loverrrrly summer holidays galavanting around Europe causing mischief and the writing of beats..... One4Ho is back!!!!

First news is that I (Ghettozoid) have been recording vocals with the mighty flesh eating King Cannibal (Ninja Tune). He purchased 'Boy Toy' on vinyl and subsequently hit me up to feature on a track of his 'Broken'. He has also remixed 'Boy Toy' both of these tracks have been aired on a mix for Eddie Temple Morris - Sound Cloud link HERE

Boy Toy also getting love from the one named Blue Daisy on Boiler Room TV - being a big fan of wearing masks-I just love that hyperactive freakazoid <3  Check his mix HERE

Anyways-enuf of the linkage........ Next news is One4Ho releases: It's been a hot minute-and we've been very poor, One4Ho have been sitting on a 150+bpm juke A side from Ghettozoid and NYC rapper Eyeris. Ghettozoid & King Cannibal 170 footwork number on the B Side. Now due for release in November-HOORAH!

We've also got a release lined up from our noisy favourites DeadFader, with a remix from King Cannibal.

'Sophie Ruston’s new One4Ho imprint delves into its third release, a solo production under her Ghettozoid moniker entitled “Boy Toy.” Taking a larger influence from her time spent in Berlin, the single flits between Hard Wax-friendly techno rhythms and darker dubstep textures in a Bristol style; it’s topped off by a creepy spoken-world vocal that could set the dancefloor on its ear, dropped at the right moment.

The single comes with a remix from newcomer Silverman, who pushes the bass and takes the track to its maximum. Impossible to categorize beyond its breakbeat hardcore associations, Silverman’s remix could very well fit neatly onto a Rephlex compilation of weird and awesome rave tracks.'

'Crafty New-skool electro styles from Ghettozoid. There's no clear bracket for 'Boy Toy', but there's shades of radioactive Dubstep rave and steppin IDM techno wrapped up with robotic female vocals in a unique style. The Silverman remix is fiercer, fluctuating with febrile Happy hardcore signatures and rugged-rompin' drum programming. Bonkers.' <3

'Remember that scene in Blade Runner where Daryll Hannah starts flipping out and nearly f**ks Rutger Hauer into oblivion, saving Harrison Ford a shed load of hassle? No nor do we but something tells me that’s what happens in the ‘Ghettozoid Director’s re-cut’ and this is the soundtrack to that very scene. Vangelis would probably be crying into his synthesiser if he heard this... or not. This is driving robo-booty bass music of the highest order and is out next week on One4Ho.

On the flip side evil genius Silverman has taken control of the 'Boy Toy' and has pushed it to the limits so it’s bordering on malfunction. It seems like he’s trying to use it to take over the planet, and he might just succeed.'
